A new sugarcane policy will be formed in the interest of sugar producing farmers of the state.
Agriculture Minister Shri Sachin Yadav today gave this information during a discussion with the sugarcane growing farmers at Kisan Bhavan in Narsinghpur district.
Seated amidst the farmers, Minister Shri Yadav gave instructions to the officers concerned for immediate redressal of the problems of the farmers.
He told that the order has been issued to ensure payment to farmers in maximum 14 days after the sale of sugarcane.
In order to solve the doubts of the farmers in sugar recovery in sugarcane, Shri Yadav instructed to send a team of officers from Bhopal.
Agriculture Minister Shri Yadav assured the sugarcane producing farmers of a fair price for their produce and said that this government is a government of the farmers.
Prompt and speedy redressal of the problems of farmers will be ensured.
